Blue Raspberry Lemonade is the perfect refreshing drink for summer gatherings, featuring a vibrant blue hue and a sweet-tangy taste. This easy-to-make lemonade combines fresh lemon juice, blue raspberry syrup, and a touch of sweetness, making it a crowd-pleaser at parties, BBQs, and festive occasions.

Ingredients

  • Fresh lemon juice (from about 6-8 lemons)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 cups water (divided)
  • ½ cup blue raspberry syrup
  • Blue food coloring (optional)
  • Fresh raspberries (for garnish)
  • Lemon slices (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Make the simple syrup: In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves. Let it cool.
  • Mix the lemonade: In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice, cooled simple syrup, blue raspberry syrup, and 4 cups of cold water. Stir well.
  • Adjust the color: Add blue food coloring if desired, starting with a small amount until the preferred shade is achieved.
  • Taste and adjust: Add more sugar or water if needed for sweetness and balance.
  • Chill: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Serve: Pour over ice and garnish with fresh raspberries and lemon slices.

Notes

  • Use sparkling water instead of still water for a fizzy version.
  • Substitute sugar with stevia or monk fruit for a lower-sugar option.
  • Store leftovers in a covered pitcher in the fridge for up to a week.
  • Turn it into a cocktail by adding  rum, or gin
