An elevated BLT sandwich with crispy bacon, juicy tomatoes, and fresh lettuce, topped with a creamy pesto aioli that adds a gourmet twist to this classic dish.

Ingredients

Fresh lettuce (like romaine or butter lettuce)
Ripe tomatoes, sliced
2 slices hearty bread (such as sourdough, whole grain, or ciabatta)
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons basil pesto
Olive oil or butter (for toasting bread)
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
