Beef Pan-Fried Noodles is a savory, satisfying Asian-inspired dish that combines tender beef, crispy noodles, and a delicious sauce. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner, it’s a flavorful, hearty recipe loved by all.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz beef (sliced thinly against the grain)

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)

  • 1 package of fresh or dry egg noodles (about 4 oz)

  • 1 small onion (thinly sliced)

  • 1 bell pepper (sliced thinly)

  • 1 carrot (julienned)

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 tsp rice vinegar

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set them aside.

  • In a large pan or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

  • Add the beef and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  • In the same pan, add the remaining oil and stir-fry the onion, bell pepper, carrot, and garlic for 2-3 minutes, until they soften.

  • Add the cooked noodles and toss with the vegetables.

  • In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.

  • Pour the sauce over the noodles and toss to coat evenly.

  • Return the beef to the pan and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve immediately.

  • Vegetarian Option: Substitute beef with tofu or your favorite meat alternative.

  • Add More Veggies: Include mushrooms, spinach, or broccoli for extra flavor and nutrients.

  • Spicy Version: Add chili paste, sriracha, or red pepper flakes to bring some heat.
