BBQ Chicken Flatbread Pizza is a quick, delicious spin on pizza, combining smoky barbecue sauce, tender shredded chicken, melty cheese, and crisp flatbread. It’s a fast and flavorful meal perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 flatbreads (such as naan or pita)
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken breast or rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for brushing crust)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: chopped cilantro, green onions, red pepper flakes, pickled jalapeños

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, toss shredded chicken with 2–3 tablespoons of BBQ sauce until coated.
  3. Place flatbreads on the baking sheet. Brush edges with olive oil if desired.
  4. Spread a thin layer of BBQ sauce over each flatbread, leaving a small border.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the sauce.
  6. Top with BBQ chicken and red onion slices.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and edges are golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and top with optional garnishes.
  9. Slice and serve warm.
