Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken breast, sliced or chopped
4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
1 cup shredded red cabbage
1 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
2 green onions, sliced
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
For the bang bang sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon lime juice
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth. Adjust spice level as desired.
In a large salad bowl, combine romaine lettuce, red cabbage, shredded carrots, cucumber, green onions, and cilantro.
Add the cooked chicken evenly over the vegetables.
Drizzle the bang bang sauce over the salad.
Toss gently to coat evenly, or serve the sauce on the side for individual portions.
Serve immediately for best texture and freshness.
Notes
Use grilled, baked, or crispy chicken depending on preference.
Substitute Greek yogurt for part of the mayonnaise for a lighter option.
Store salad and sauce separately to prevent sogginess.
Add avocado, nuts, or quinoa for extra texture and heartiness.
Reduce or omit sriracha to make the sauce milder.
Bang bang sauce keeps refrigerated for up to 5 days.
