Banana Chia Seed Pudding is a creamy, naturally sweet, and nutrient-packed breakfast or snack. Combining ripe bananas and chia seeds, this easy-to-make pudding is a wholesome treat that’s perfect for meal prep or a quick, satisfying snack.

Ingredients

  1. 2 ripe bananas, mashed
    1/2 cup chia seeds
1 1/2 cups almond milk (or any non-dairy milk of choice)
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional for added sweetness)
    Pinch of salt
Fresh fruit, nuts, or granola (optional toppings)

Instructions

Mash the Bananas: In a medium bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.

  1. Mix the Ingredients: Add the almond milk, chia seeds, vanilla extract, maple syrup (if using), and a pinch of salt to the mashed bananas. Stir everything together until well combined.
  2. Refrigerate the Pudding: Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Stir and Serve: After the pudding has set, give it a good stir. If it’s too thick, add more almond milk to adjust the consistency.
  4. Top and Enjoy: Serve the pudding topped with fresh fruits, nuts, or granola for added texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Storage: Store any leftover pudding in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheating: This pudding is typically served cold, but if you prefer it warm, you can microwave it for 15-20 seconds or heat it gently on the stovetop.
