Baked keto chicken wings are crispy, flavorful, and low in carbs, making them perfect for a healthy appetizer, snack, or dinner. Coated in simple seasonings and baked to golden perfection, these wings are a must-try for anyone following a keto or low-carb lifestyle.

Ingredients

  1. 2 lbs chicken wings (drumettes and flats)
  2. 1 tablespoon baking powder (aluminum-free)
  3. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  4. 1 teaspoon onion powder
  5. 1 teaspoon paprika
  6. 1 teaspoon salt
  7. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  8. Optional sauces: buffalo sauce, garlic Parmesan, or sugar-free barbecue sauce

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top.

  1. Pat chicken wings dry thoroughly with paper towels to remove moisture.
  2. In a large bowl, toss wings with baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange wings in a single layer on the wire rack, making sure they’re not touching.
  4. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Optional: Toss hot wings in your preferred keto-friendly sauce before serving.
  6. Serve immediately with dipping sauces or celery sticks if desired.

Notes

  • Use baking powder, not baking soda—aluminum-free is best for flavor.
  • For extra crispy wings, let them air-dry uncovered in the fridge for a few hours before baking.
  • Add cayenne or chili flakes for extra heat.
  • Try lemon pepper seasoning or garlic butter for variety.
  • Wings are done when they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
