Baked Chicken Nuggets are a healthier, crispy, and delicious alternative to traditional fried nuggets. Made with tender chicken, seasoned breadcrumbs, and baked to golden perfection, these nuggets are easy to prepare, family-friendly, and perfect for meal prepping or quick dinners.

Ingredients

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for extra flavor)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 eggs, beaten

Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Set oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease with cooking spray or olive oil.

  2. Prepare breading: In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese (if using), garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Prepare egg wash: In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.

  4. Bread the chicken: Dip each chicken piece into the egg wash, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to coat.

  5. Arrange and bake: Place coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between pieces. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray. Bake for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
