Baked Boursin Salmon is a simple yet elegant dish featuring tender salmon fillets topped with creamy garlic and herb Boursin cheese. As it bakes, the cheese melts into a rich, flavorful topping that keeps the salmon moist and delicious—perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each), skin on or off
  • 1 (5.2 oz) package Boursin cheese, garlic and fine herbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or chives, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes or 1 bunch asparagus (optional, for baking alongside)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Drizzle lightly with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Spread an even layer of Boursin cheese over the top of each fillet.
  5. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon.
  6. If desired, arrange cherry tomatoes or asparagus around the salmon.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley or chives before serving.
