This wholesome juice is rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, making it a refreshing and energizing drink that supports detoxification and overall health.

Ingredients

2 medium apples, cored and chopped
2 medium beetroots, peeled and chopped
3 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger (optional)
1/2 lemon (for juice)
12 cups cold water or coconut water (to adjust consistency)
Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing the ingredients. Peel and chop the beetroots and carrots. Core and chop the apples. If using, peel a small piece of fresh ginger.
  2. Add the chopped apples, beetroots, carrots, and ginger to a blender.
  3. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the blender for a refreshing tang.
  4. Add 1-2 cups of cold water or coconut water to the blender. Start with less water and add more if you prefer a thinner juice consistency.
  5. Blend everything until smooth. If you prefer a pulp-free juice, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
  6. Pour the juice into a glass over ice cubes if desired.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy the fresh, vibrant flavors of this nutrient-packed juice.

Notes

  • For extra citrus flavor, try adding an orange or a few slices of grapefruit.
  • Fresh mint or parsley can add a refreshing herbal twist to the juice.
  • For a more savory variation, add a stalk or two of celery for added nutrients.
  • If you like your juice sweeter, feel free to add a drizzle of honey or agave nectar.
  • Freeze the chopped apple, beetroot, and carrot beforehand for a slushier, cooler version of this juice.
