Air Fryer Wontons are crispy, golden parcels filled with savory or sweet fillings, cooked to perfection with little to no oil. They make the perfect appetizer, snack, or party finger food, pairing wonderfully with your favorite dipping sauces.

Ingredients

  1. 20 wonton wrappers
  2. 4 oz cream cheese (or ground meat, veggies, or other filling)
  3. 2 green onions, finely chopped
  4. 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  5. 1 tsp soy sauce (optional)
  6. Salt and pepper, to taste
  7. Cooking spray or oil for brushing
  8. Optional: sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, or spicy mayo for dipping

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine your filling—such as cream cheese with green onions, or cooked ground meat with seasoning.

  1. Place wonton wrappers on a clean surface and add 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each wrapper.
  2. Moisten wrapper edges with water and fold into triangles or your preferred shape, pressing edges firmly to seal.
  3. Lightly spray or brush wontons with oil.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  5. Arrange wontons in a single layer in the basket. Air fry for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving with dipping sauces.

Notes

  • Do not overfill wontons or they may burst open during cooking.
  • Cook fillings such as meat or vegetables beforehand to ensure they’re done in the short fry time.
  • For best results, work in batches and avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket.
