Air Fryer Stuffed Mushrooms are a quick and delicious appetizer made with tender mushroom caps filled with a creamy, cheesy mixture, then air-fried to golden, bubbling perfection. Ready in just 20 minutes, these bite-sized snacks are easy, customizable, and perfect for entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 20 button or cremini mushrooms, stems removed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions or parsley
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil spray
  • Optional add-ins: cooked bacon bits, shredded cheddar, crab meat, red pepper flakes, or Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel and remove the stems. Lightly spray the mushroom caps with olive oil and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, garlic, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, herbs, salt, pepper, and any optional ingredients until smooth.
  3. Fill each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, packing slightly with a spoon.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C).
  5. Place stuffed mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden and bubbling.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.

Notes

  • To make gluten-free, use GF breadcrumbs or omit them entirely.
  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or chopped jalapeños.
  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches if needed.
