Air Fryer Round Steak is a fast and flavorful way to prepare juicy, tender beef with a crisp exterior. Using simple seasonings and the air fryer’s power, this recipe delivers steakhouse-quality results in minutes—perfect for quick weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 2 round steaks (about 1-inch thick)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Pat the round steaks dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear.
  3. Brush both sides with olive oil or melted butter.
  4. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Sprinkle evenly over both sides of the steaks.
  5. Place steaks in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap.
  6. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until desired doneness is reached (135°F for medium-rare, 145°F for medium).
  7. If using Worcestershire sauce, brush it on during the final minute for added flavor.
  8. Remove steaks and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking—round steak can dry out quickly.
  • Add cayenne pepper or chili flakes for a spicy version.
  • Marinate the steak for 30 minutes to enhance tenderness and flavor.
  • Top with garlic herb butter right before serving for extra richness.
  • Slice leftovers thin for sandwiches or salads.
