Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Shrimp combines succulent shrimp with a savory garlic and Parmesan coating, all cooked to crispy perfection in minutes. This quick and flavorful dish is perfect for busy weeknights, meal prep, or as a delightful appetizer.

Ingredients

  1. 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off as preferred)
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    ½ teaspoon salt
    ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
    ½ teaspoon garlic powder
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
    Optional: Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish

Instructions

Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

  1. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder, minced garlic, and grated Parmesan cheese. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until evenly coated.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3 minutes.
  3. Place the seasoned shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
  4. Air fry the shrimp at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the shrimp are opaque and slightly golden.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  1. Add red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper for a spicy version.
  2. Top with more Parmesan cheese during the last 2 minutes of cooking for a cheesy crust.
  3. Incorporate fresh herbs like basil or thyme for added flavor.
  4. For extra citrus flavor, add lemon zest to the seasoning mix.
