Ingredients
1 lb frozen chicken wings (no need to thaw)
1 tablespoon of olive oil or cooking spray
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Optional: Garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, or your favorite seasoning blend
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
Prepare the chicken wings: If the wings are stuck together, gently separate them. Optionally, spray them with olive oil or brush with oil for extra crispiness.
Season the wings: Sprinkle the wings with salt, pepper, and any seasonings like garlic powder, paprika, or onion powder. Toss to coat evenly.
Air fry the wings: Place the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Check for doneness: Ensure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C). If extra crispiness is desired, cook for a few additional minutes.
Optional: Toss in sauce: If you want saucy wings, toss them in your preferred wing sauce after cooking. For a crispier option, drizzle sauce on top without coating the wings.
Serve and enjoy: Serve your crispy wings with dipping sauces and enjoy!
Notes
For extra crispiness, cook the wings for 5 more minutes, or add 1-2 minutes during the second round of cooking.
You can use different wing sauces, like buffalo, BBQ, or teriyaki, for variety.
If the wings are breaded, adjust the cooking time to avoid overcooking the breading.
