Air Fryer Cilantro Lime Salmon is a zesty, herb-infused salmon dish cooked to perfection in the air fryer. With a crisp exterior, tender inside, and fresh citrus-herb flavor, it’s a quick, healthy, and vibrant weeknight dinner option.

Ingredients

  • 24 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
  • 3 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, zest, garlic, cilantro, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pat salmon fillets dry and brush with marinade. Marinate 10–15 minutes if time allows.
  4. Place salmon in the air fryer basket, skin-side down if skin-on.
  5. Air fry 7–10 minutes, depending on thickness, until salmon flakes easily and reaches 145°F (63°C).
  6. Remove, rest briefly, and serve with lime wedges and extra cilantro.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches if needed.
  • Fresh lime juice gives the best flavor, but bottled works in a pinch.
  • For a spicy version, add chili flakes or cayenne pepper.
  • Pairs well with rice, quinoa, or grilled vegetables.
  • Leftovers are best reheated in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–5 minutes.
