Air Fryer Burgers are a quick and convenient way to enjoy juicy, flavorful burgers without the need for a grill or stovetop. With minimal preparation and cleanup, these burgers are perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  1. 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)
    ½ teaspoon garlic powder
    ½ teaspoon onion powder
    ½ teaspoon salt
    ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Optional: 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce or BBQ sauce for added flavor
    4 burger buns
Toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese slices, pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise

Instructions

Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and preheat for 5 minutes.

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire or BBQ sauce if using. Mix gently to combine.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties about ½ inch thick.
  3. Place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 7 minutes.
  4. If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking.
  5. While the patties cook, split the burger buns and toast them lightly in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes.
  6. Place the cooked patties on the toasted buns and add your desired toppings. Serve immediately.

Notes

  1. For a cheeseburger, add a slice of your favorite cheese during the last minute of cooking.
  2. For a spicy burger, mix in chopped jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce into the beef mixture.
  3. For a BBQ burger, top with BBQ sauce and crispy onion rings.
  4. For a vegetarian version, use a plant-based patty alternative.
